FORTNITE enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement over the new quest that involves tracking down the elusive Giant Turtle. This creature has been a familiar sight in Fortnite chapter six season one, but a recent quest has made it more challenging to locate.

The Great Turtle Quest Unveiled

Known as "The Great Turtle" quest, this new addition to Fortnite chapter six was introduced on December 18, 2024. Players have a six-week window to complete the quest and earn a reward of 80,000 XP. The quest entails finding the Giant Turtle, where players will encounter Ryuji, an NPC who needs their assistance. By clearing the turtle's shell of dark Magic Thorns, players can unlock additional rewards for their battle pass.

Where to Find the Giant Turtle?

Initially nestled in the forest area between Lost Lake and Whiffy Wharf, the Giant Turtle has since relocated to one of seven possible locations on the map. Players can now encounter the turtle in various spots at the beginning of each game. Look out for a distinct bulging turtle shell while diving from the Battle Bus to pinpoint the creature's whereabouts. The map provides markers for all seven potential spawn locations to aid players on their quest:
