Fortnite the five biggest changes in update v22.30

FORTNITEMARES 2022 is now over, and the latest update bridges the gap between Halloween and the holiday season. 

Star Wars is returning once again to the battle royale with a number of themed additions.

Darth Vader appeared as a boss last season, and the one previous had a Star Wars day-themed event.

Skywalker week comes to Fortnite

This week is Skywalker week, meaning now until November 8, you can complete Star Wars-themed challenges for 20k XP each.

These are all the quests:

• Search 10 Star Wars chests
• Block shots using a Lightsaber 15 times
• Complete a bounty from a Stormtrooper
• Assist in defeating Darth Vader
• Deal damage to opponents with Star Wars weapons in five stages

Lightsabers and E-11 Blaster Rifles come to Fortnite

These weapons were recently vaulted, and they are already back again. 

Both green and blue versions of Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber can be found as random loot, and you get Darth Vader’s red saber if you defeat him in-game.

The E-11 blaster rifle is also back with its high accuracy and infinite ammo as random loot.

Junk Rift returns Fortnite

Junk Rift is another unvaulted weapon that will drop a random item when thrown to the ground. It will also destroy any structures in its wake.

This week it will also have the chance to drop Luke’s X-34 Landspeeder.

Pulse Rifle returns Fortnite

The last unvaulted weapon is the Pulse Rifle which has a speedy rate of fire, and bonus damage when aimed down the sights.

We’re hoping this one sticks around after Skywalker week ends.

Free Chrome Punk skin for all Fortnite players

While it’s unusual for free outfits to be given away in Fortnite, everyone has the chance to earn the Chrome Punk skin.

There are three new quests to complete. The first two will reward you with a Chrome Punk item, and the last – the outfit.

These quests are active until January 1, 2023, so you have a little time to get your hands on it.
