Fortnite Season 7 Sky Fire finale is a one-time event you won’t want to miss

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is drawing to a close and the Sky Fire finale will see players infiltrate the Mothership.

Exciting in-game events aside, Epic has stressed that Operation: Sky Fire is a one-time event with no replays.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Operation: Sky Fire event

Operation: Sky Fire, Fortnite’s Season 7 ending event, kicks off on Sunday, September 12, at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 9pm BST / 10pm CEST.

So you may want to let the kids stay up for this one a there’s no way to replay it.

The event playlist will open up 30 minutes before the start so that players can hop in and join the queue for the event.

Players can join the lobby with their friends, which can hold up to 16 people, and they’re encouraged to fill all the slots.

In the run-up to the event, Fortnite players can enjoy “heavily discounted” wares and services from Island residents and vending machines.

You’ll also want to make sure you’ve wrapped up any outstanding Epic Quests, and exchanged your Battle Stars for rewards.

Speaking of rewards, a new Legendary Quest will reward you for “offloading your cache of Bars with some final XP to top off your Battle Pass”.

And finish up collecting and exchanging those Alien Artifacts while you’re at it!

Epic’s blog warns that any unclaimed Battle Stars or Alien Artifacts at the end of Season 7 will be “automatically redeemed for rewards and styles starting with the earliest available unlocks.”

So to avoid disappointment, trade them for items you have your eye on before the weekend’s festivities.
