While nothing has been officially announced, rumours have already started spreading on social media.

Here’s everything you need to know about FIFA 23’s Future Stars promotion.

FIFA 23: What is Future Stars?

Future Stars is an event in the FIFA series that focuses on footballers EA Sports believe have a lot of potential.

This is already reflected in FUT cards, as alongside their overall rating, players also receive a potential rating.

The players chosen will receive upgraded cards to reflect how the developer thinks they will perform at their peak.

As these are rising stars, all players have to be 23 or younger to be included in the promotion.

FIFA 23: When will Future Stars start?

Future Stars has not been officially announced, so there is no definitive answer to this.

However, rumours suggest it will start as soon as the TOTY promotion ends.

This means it will kick off on Friday, February 3, 2023 at around 6pm UK time.

If it follows previous patterns, cards will be available for two weeks, and two teams of Future Stars will be released.

The first team is expected to be available from February 3, until February 10, and the second team from February 10, until February 17.

FIFA 23: Will Future Stars have Token Swaps?

It is rumoured that the upcoming promotion will feature Token Swaps, which allows you to earn tokens and exchange them for FUT packs and cards.

Rumours suggest that Manchester City’s Philippe Coutinho will be available as one of the rewards for Token Swaps.
