Capcom Delists Three Games from Steam Platform

Capcom's Strong Start and Sudden Announcement

CAPCOM had a stellar year in 2023 with the release of popular games like Street Fighter 6 and the Resident Evil 4 remake, delighting fans and injecting fresh energy into the series. However, the publisher has surprised players by announcing that three games will be delisted from Steam.

Games Going Bye-Bye

Dark Void, Dark Void Zero, and Flock will all be removed from the Steam platform starting Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Players have a limited two-week window to purchase these games before they disappear for good.

What Capcom Has to Say

On the game pages, players will find a message stating, "Capcom will be discontinuing digital sales of Dark Void / Dark Void Zero / Flock on Steam Store on May 8 5:30PM PDT. Customers who have purchased the title prior to its delisting date may still be able to enjoy the game into the future depending on their PC operating system’s ability to continue running the game."

Opportunities to Explore on Other Platforms

While these games will no longer be available on Steam, they can still be found on other platforms. It remains uncertain if the games will also be delisted from these alternate platforms. As older games, they are budget-friendly options worth trying out if they pique your interest.
