GIOVANNI might be leaving the rocket hideouts this week, but there are other things on offer.
It’s your perfect chance to finish collecting the Alolan starters.
Little Cup makes a refreshing change
The box legendary Pokémon from a fan favourite game is also entering the gyms.
Here’s everything that’s happening in Pokémon Go from March 27 to April 2.
Popplio takes the spotlight
This week’s Spotlight Hour will take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 6pm local time.
The third Alolan starter is here completing the trilogy of Spotlight Hours.
Like the others, Popplio is a three-stage evolution, making this the perfect opportunity to grab Primarina.
You’ll also earn double XP for any Pokémon you catch during this hour, even if it’s not Popplio.
An Everyday Hero and Team Rocket Takeover ends
These events will end on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 8pm local time.
Wednesday is the last day of the Everyday Hero/Rocket Takeover event.
If you haven’t taken part yet, it’s your last chance to catch Pansear, Pansage, and Panpour.
It’s also your last chance to take on Giovanni and his fearsome Regice.
Make sure you save up your Rocket Radars so that you can take him on.
Lugia storms raids
Raid Hour will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 6pm local time.
Ho-Oh received a double bill in five-star raids, and now it’s Lugia’s turn.
Lugia will appear in every gym during raid hour, and will be available in five-star raids for the rest of the week.
Mega Alakazam will be the target of mega raids taking over from Mega Venusaur.
Little Cup takes on the Go Battle League
Go Battle League will change on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 9pm UK time.
Both cups will change this week with the Master League allowing absolutely any Pokémon to enter.
The Little Cup is an interesting throwback where only Pokémon up to 500CP can enter.
These Pokémon must all be unevolved ‘mons that still can evolve, so only first-stage monsters allowed.
This allows players to use some weaker Pokémon that they would usually never consider.
