You can get the free games on Xbox if you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold – something that’s required for online play.

The first free game is called Little Nightmares, a puzzle-platformer horror.



The King of Fighters XIII is a popular SNK fighting game

Next up is Dead Rising, an action-adventure survival horror.

It’s available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X from January 16 to February 15.

The third game is The King of Fighters XIII, an SNK fighting game.

That’s up for grabs on Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Xbox 360 between January 1 and January 15.

And finally there’s Breakdown, a 2004 first-person action game.

You can play it from January 16 to January 31 on all Xbox consoles.

Free PS5 and PS4 games – January 2021

PS Plus is a premium subscription service for PS4 owners that gets you free games.

A membership costs £6.99 a month, £19.99 for three months or £49.99 annually.

There are three free games available with PS Plus this month.

The first is the PS5 PS Plus exclusive: Man-eater.

It’s a single-player open-world action RPG where you play as the shark.

You start as a small pup, eating your way up until you eventually become the terror of the local beach.

For PS4 and PS5 owners, there are two more games available.



Lara Croft is back with graphics that look better than ever

One is Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is a real coup for PS Plus members.

This 2018 hit follows Lara Croft as she races to save the world from a Mayan apocalypse.

Finally, there’s Greedfall, an action RPG where you explore uncharted new lands.

There are plenty of secrets and creatures to discover, with abilities, spells and skills to master too.

Twitch Prime is a paid subscription service for Amazon’s popular live-streaming app.
