Streamlining Blockchain Projects
Google Cloud has joined forces with blockchain infrastructure firm MultiversX to enhance its presence in the Web 3 space. By integrating MultiversX into its platform, Google Cloud aims to help Web3 projects and users gain valuable insights from data analytics and artificial intelligence tools within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
MultiversX believes that this partnership has the potential to significantly streamline the execution of large-scale, data-driven blockchain projects. Developers will have easier access to data about addresses, transacted amounts, smart contract interactions, and enhanced on-chain analytics, according to the company.
Enabling High Performance and Scalability
Meanwhile, Google Cloud's involvement in the MultiversX network will enable ecosystem builders to leverage advanced tools and services available on the platform. This will help bring high performance and scalability to the non-blockchain components of decentralized applications (dApps).
Daniel Rood, Head of Web3 EMEA at Google Cloud, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, "There are exciting opportunities to enable Web3 developers to build and scale faster, and as we explore new verticals within the space, our partnership with MultiversX will allow us to expand our strategy and reach further and solidify our position as one of the main innovation drivers in the blockchain world."
Previous Partnerships and New Features
MultiversX has previously formed partnerships with mainstream brands to promote Web3 use cases in the traditional world. ICI D|SERVICES, the first European institutional marketplace for digital assets, and holoride, Audi's platform for in-car virtual reality, have both chosen MultiversX as their platform of choice.
In addition, MultiversX has announced a range of new scalable features for its decentralized digital asset wallet, xPortal SuperApp. These updates will allow users to easily handle both fiat and cryptocurrency. By the beginning of 2024, xPortal users will have access to peer-to-peer fiat payments as well as European IBANs, SEPA, and SWIFT.
The platform has also introduced the xWorlds Developer Kit, which provides creators with a variety of unique tools to build augmented reality experiences. By leveraging xPortal as a wallet and distribution hub, developers can utilize highly realistic AI-powered 3D avatars.
