ACTRESS and artist Alexandra Vino is allegedly dating Harvey Weinstein, although the pair have not confirmed they are dating.
She has openly defended the disgraced producer in interviews despite his convictions for sex crimes against several women.
Who is Alexandra Vino?
Alexandra Vino, 30, is an American actress.
She is also an aspiring singer, artist, and screenwriter according to the New York Post.
She is of Italian descent, is from New Jersey.
Vino is reportedly dating Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, but the pair have not confirmed their relationship.
“I’ve known Harvey a very long time,” Vino told The Post.
“I’ve seen women competing to be with him, begging to be with him. I have seen it with a lot of men in the industry. I’ve also seen how generous he can be — what a godfather he was to people.
“I find it horrifying what the press did to him and I think there was an agenda. I’m all for women’s rights and the women’s movement. But can’t we give women equal pay and equal rights without killing men?”
How did she meet Harvey Weinstein?
Vino said she met Weinstein years ago while dating another man — allegedly the son of a major, now-deceased producer who made films with Weinstein — who worked for him, reports the New York Post.
Vino was recently spotted spending several hours talking to Weinstein at Wende Correctional Facility in New York, where he is more than eight months into his 23-year sentence, the Daily Mail reported.
Vino was seen sitting close to her alleged beau while chatting in a back room meant for prisoners kept in involuntary protective custody, an unnamed source allegedly told the outlet.
“She had to keep away from him, there is no hugging or touching now, and of course, they both had to wear a mask,” the source said.
“But they sat close together, and I am sure if it weren’t for the Covid restrictions they would have been holding hands.”
The disgraced film boss and Vino had previously denied that they were in a romantic relationship.
In December 2019, they were said to have holed up in a New Jersey hotel room and binged on ice cream before the start of Weinstein’s rape trial.
Vino was also spotted sitting on Weinstein’s lap as she serenaded the crowd at posh lounge ‘Socialista’ in Manhattan last November.
She denied a ring had been bought by Weinstein when approached by Trending In The News despite posting a series of cryptic pictures on her Instagram account showing off a massive ring on her engagement finger.
“Everyone seems to f****ing hate Harvey but they don’t realize they don’t really hate Harvey,” once said of Weinstein.
“They are being told how to feel. He is a scapegoat for this entire [#MeToo] movement and they’ve destroyed his life. It’s been like a human sacrifice. People get 23 years in prison for murdering people, not for what he did.”
Weinstein, 67, who is headed to jail for up to 29 years, was divorced by British ex-wife Georgina Chapman when the #MeToo scandal exploded.

Not many details are known about Vino’s past relationships before her alleged involvement with Weinstein.
As her personal relationships are kept mostly private, her professional life appears to be successful.
In 2018, Vino appeared in Mile 22 alongside Mark Wahlberg and will star in soon-to-be-released Wonderland, again, with Walhberg and Oscar-winner Alan Arkin.
In Wonderland, she will play the role of “real-life organized crime victim Gloria Wiesnewski.”
