THIS Morning’s Trinny Woodall has revealed she contracted coronavirus while looking after sick relatives over Christmas.
The fashion guru said she feels “horrible” after falling ill with the deadly bug as she took care of her suffering loved ones.
She shared a video with her 840,000 Instagram following revealing she is “just getting over a little bit of corona”.
Taking a pause to clear her throat after coughing, Trinny, 56, added: “I just haven’t been up for chatting, it’s been a few days of woof.
“I did feel really horrible until around 5am this morning and then I went back to sleep … I was looking after some sick relatives who had corona and I thought I was invincible and I was really careful in the house wearing gloves, and in the end I was wearing just the mask.”
The telly star went on to admit the virus had floored her and it wasn’t the start to 2021 that she had been hoping for.
She said: “I just feel very, very, very, tired. Not the way I want to come into fighting January that’s for sure.”
The celeb then shared a list of 12 products including Vitamin D supplements, and magnesium bath flakes which she said helped with aches brought on by the virus.
Her followers wished her well beneath her post, with one writing: “Oh Trinny! I am so sorry to hear that you got (coronavirus) Get well soon and please take care. Sending you love
”
Another penned: “I’m so sorry you have been experiencing Covid and it’s symptoms. Please keep taking good care of yourself. You are such a joy and we all need you and have missed you.”
Back in October Trending In The News revealed Trinny threatened to quit This Morning after a boss banned her from wearing a ring from her own range on screen.
The What Not To Wear star was rapped by show editor Martin Frizzell for breaching Ofcom rulesby wearing the £300 ring from Trinny London.
Trinny told the Emma Guns podcast: “I always wear this ring cause I always wear big rings. After a while I remember the editor said, ‘Trinny you can’t wear that ring!’ I was like, ‘Why not?’
“He goes, ‘Well because it’s an ad for your brand.’ I go, ‘Darling it’s the ring or me. I’m very happy to give up fashion on This Morning, but this is my ring, it’s me. I always wear big rings, people can make of it what they will’.”
Trinny also revealed that other stars were given special treatment on the show but insisted they would remain “nameless”.
The incident was brought up again by host Eamonn Holmes, 60, after the telling off but it appears show bosses let it slide in a bid to keep Trinny on the show.
