MORE travel rules are being scrapped this week – making going on holiday much easier.
All remaining Covid travel rules are being ditched from 4am on Friday, including Passenger Locator Forms and Covid tests for unvaccinated Brits.
The changes have come ahead of the Easter holidays and will save travellers time and money – here is the full list of travel changes being enforced this week.
Passenger Locator Forms scrapped
The scrapping of PLFs is the big change from this week, and is the only one that impacts vaccinated travellers.
The form currently has to be filled out by all arrivals into the UK, and asks for information about your travel details, address and vaccination status.
Although the form was simplified last month, it’s still time-consuming, and an added hassle for travellers, so holidaymakers will be relieved to see the back of it.

Pre-departure tests scrapped for unvaxxed
Pre-departure tests were scrapped for vaccinated Brits back in January, but were kept in place for unvaccinated travellers.
From Friday, no one will have to do them – regardless of vaccination status.
Day two tests scrapped for unvaxxed
Day two tests were also ditched for vaccinated Brits in February.
Unvaccinated Brits still had to take them – this is no longer the case from Friday.
Airlines ditching mandatory face masks
A growing number of airlines are ditching mandatory face masks onboard, with more announcing new changes this week.
British Airways is scrapping masks from tomorrow, following in the footsteps of Jet2 and TUI, while Virgin Atlantic has said they will start scrapping them on flights to the Caribbean.
Ryanair is expected to drop mandatory masks in the coming weeks, as boss Michael O’Leary said they’re likely to be scrapped by spring.
According to the Evening Standard, he said he hopes to see the end of masks on planes by “the end of April or May”.
Additionally, Heathrow Airport has confirmed passengers will no longer have to wear masks while travelling from tomorrow.
