Ticket holders had to provide a negative test before and after they had attended

Ticket holders had to provide a negative test before being allowed on site at the festival and were required to take another afterwards.

The testing system meant party-goers were able to ditch social distancing and masks but only a fraction of the usual 100,000 strong crowd could attend.

Other big events in the government’s research programme include The Brit Awards last month – where no Covid-19 cases were reported afterwards.
