LISA Snowdon wiped away tears on This Morning today as she revealed she contracted Covid again – and this time it was worse.
The TV star told how she suffered a panic attack during her second Covid battle after being in “excruciating pain” and even considered being hospitalised on Friday night.
Lisa, 49, who first contracted Covid in March last year, appeared from her home where she said she had been mostly bed-bound with partner George taking care of her, helping to wash and to dress her.
Speaking to her worried This Morning co-stars Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, she said: “I’ve definitely turned a corner. I’ve showered, I’m dressed, I washed my hair for you guys. But it absolutely wiped me out.
“Especially after I already had it. I had in March before lockdown, I had been so careful, wearing masks, been cautious about going to events, it’s Just baffled me completely.
The former model, who has been double-vaccinated, went on to describe her terrifying symptoms.
She said: “The first time I had it was pretty bad, we were quite poorly, George had it as well.
“This time I’ve been in bed the whole time, George used to make me get out of bed and bath and change my pyjamas.
“There were a couple of really scary days and nights, on Friday, with my chest and heart, I had a panic attack on top of that and I was really scared.
“That was one time I considered (going to hospital) and Saturday I had this head pain that was beyond excruciating. It was beyond awful.
“But I didn’t want to go hospital because I thought there were people worse than me. I did consider it.
“I’m out of the woods now, I’ve tested negative.
“We have to be aware that it’s still around and is mutating and it seems more aggressive and nasty.”
