The couple stated to the outlet “they are both concerned about Jill battling the virus while she’s expecting.”

The couple is “unsure” about the long-term effects for pregnant women, and Jill’s heartbreaking 2021 miscarriage “only heightens their anxiety.”

The outlet added they are both “fully vaccinated” and taking baby Aspirin while monitoring their baby’s heart rate.

Jill also noted she’s “thankful” she didn’t catch the virus in her first trimester and that her other two boys are currently “healthy.”

‘IT’S NOT FUN’

In the first, she posed with her husband along with a thermos of tea and a box of tissues.

In the second, she shared a photo of their positive test results.

“Give me all the hot liquids and cough drops please!! Derick & I tested + for covid for the first time and it’s not fun!” she wrote.

“With a little help from family, we were still able to celebrate Derick’s birthday at home yesterday, even though it was different than we’d originally hoped.”

The third photo in the slideshow featured Derick with a birthday cake.

“Prayers appreciated for quick recoveries and for baby to stay healthy too!” she wrote, adding the hastags, “#covid2022 #positiveforcovid #birthday #babydilly.”

HAPPIER NEWS

In February, Jill announced she was expecting her third child with husband Derick four months after revealing the couple’s miscarriage.

The Counting On alum broke the news on her Dillard family website after they lost their daughter, River.

She posted on their website: “We’ve been keeping a little secret!”

The reality star continued: “Ever since we were devastated last fall by the miscarriage of our sweet baby, River Bliss, we have prayed that, if it was God’s will, he would bless us with another baby.”

She concluded: “We are excited to announce that God has answered our prayers and we are expecting our rainbow baby due July 2022!”

The couple has not yet found out the baby’s gender, but are “so excited” to learn if they will be having a baby girl or boy “soon.”

They are already parents to sons Israel, six, and Samuel, four.

CASE CLOSED

The news comes as Jill, along with her sisters, Jessa, Joy-Anna and Jinger had their lawsuit against police dismissed after a judge said they failed to prove cops caused them “emotional distress” by leaking a molestation report.

Jessa, Jill, Jinger and Joy-Anna had legally challenged local authorities over a leaked police report claiming their disgraced brother, Josh Duggar, molested minors in the family home.

Trending In The News exclusively revealed that the judge in the Arkansas federal case against the local authorities was dismissed with prejudice after the settlement conference scheduled for a Thursday was canceled ahead of the decision.

The judge ruled that the local authorities did not intend to inflict emotional distress and that they were even attempting to conceal the alleged victims’ identities by redacting the police report before it was released to the media.
