IT is the year we will remember for ever but would dearly prefer to forget.
In 2020, because of Covid-19, almost 80,000 people in Britain lost their lives and millions lost their livelihoods.
Whether it was the daily death toll or the effect of coronavirus on the economy, we have been bombarded by numbers all year.
So, as this 12 months ends with a hope of better to come, we look back at 2020 in numbers.
