FURIOUS Roma fans are demanding Jordan Veretout is axed after he appeared to party with his wife despite knowing she had Covid before missing training.
The French midfielder, 29, was given five days off by Jose Mourinho during the international break.
So he headed to Monte Carlo with wife Sabrina to celebrate her 29tth birthday.
However, she revealed on social media she had tested positive for coronavirus.
Even so, the couple remained in close contact, did not isolate and continued with their plans.
Pregnant Sabrina posted a photo at the hairdressers on Instagram but wrote: “I’m positive, but it’s my day.”

There were then videos shared of Veretout and Sabrina joining with friends and family at the party – nobody was wearing a mask.
Veretout – who was recently dropped by his agent – then missed training this week before Roma confirmed one unnamed player from the squad was absent after contracting Covid.
Sabrina defended the couple’s actions and said her husband had tested negative and would return to training – before his absence.
She told FirenzeViola in Italy: “We had been in Monte Carlo for a few days, with people who came from all over France and those who were working at the event.

“On Saturday I tested positive for Covid, as did one other person, but by that stage, we were already all together.
“I gave everyone the choice to leave if they wanted to, but they all insisted on staying and joining the party.”
Veretout has been a key player under Jose Mourinho this season, chipping in with four goals and nine assists.
However, supporters took to social media to blast him and Sabrina, demanding the ex-Aston Villa flop is dropped for the rest of the season.
One said: “Silly! Luckily at the end of the season you pack your suitcases.”
And the fiasco could spell the beginning of the end for Veretout at Roma, with reports suggesting the club will look to ship him out in the summer.
Newcastle and Inter Milan are being linked with swoops for the five-cap France international.
