Quoting her mother's recollection, "I didn’t think anything of it at first — I just thought she had a sickness bug and so did the GP, who gave her lucozade to drink. But after a few days I still wasn’t happy, she was very lethargic, and so I took her to A and E. They thought it was a urine infection and gave her antibiotics, but she wasn’t in pain, so I wasn’t convinced with that diagnosis. The following day she was lying on the sofa and she was sick again, and I knew that she didn’t look right."
