Leading cause of cancer deaths in the UK
Lung cancer is the UK’s biggest cancer killer, responsible for over 35,000 deaths annually. Early signs and diagnosis
The woman sought medical help after experiencing vision loss and occasional flashes of light in her left eye. Despite no pain, redness, or other symptoms, scans revealed growths in her eyes and lower right lung. Further tests confirmed lung carcinoma with choroidal metastasis in both eyes, indicating the cancer had spread to multiple organs.
