Asha Patel, a 16-year-old from Diss, Norfolk, was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma earlier this year after noticing a lump on her neck. The cancer had spread to her lungs and spleen, requiring gruelling chemotherapy treatment.

Sharing her Journey

In a touching video, Asha is seen pulling out clumps of hair as it falls out due to the treatment, a moment she describes as devastating and emotional. She decided to share her story to support others going through similar experiences, shedding light on the less talked about aspects of teenage cancer.

Asha's Brave Battle

Asha's father, Jayesh, praised her bravery in facing the challenges of cancer treatment as a teenager. Despite the hardships, Asha remained positive and focused on helping others, showcasing resilience throughout her journey.

Life after Cancer

After months of chemotherapy, Asha has been declared cancer-free, allowing her to look forward to normal teenage experiences like starting sixth form and celebrating her 17th birthday. She is now supporting the Give Up Clothes for Good campaign to raise funds for Cancer Research UK for Children & Young People.
