Trump campaign accuses Labour of 'foreign interference' in US election over support for Kamala Harris

Trump campaign files complaint

Donald Trump's presidential campaign has accused Labour of "foreign interference" in the US election. The Republican chief's team filed a complaint accusing the "far-Left" party of inspiring Kamala Harris' "dangerously liberal policies."

Allegations of illegal foreign campaign contributions

The Trump-Vance Campaign filed a Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint against the Harris-Walz Campaign and the Labour Party of the United Kingdom for alleged illegal foreign campaign contributions and interference in the US elections. The complaint was prompted by reports of Labour members campaigning for Kamala Harris in the US.

Response from Labour

The complaint references a report in The Telegraph and a social media post that has since been deleted, suggesting that nearly 100 Labour Party staff members were heading to swing states in the US. The Labour Party has been approached for comment on these allegations.
