Tories Unload Booze Ahead of Annual Conference in Manchester

Boxes of Booze and Beer Delivered to Midland Hotel

As the Conservative Party prepares for their annual conference, security staff have spent the past four days unloading boxes of wine, plonk, Peroni beer, and spirits into the Midland Hotel in Manchester. The hotel, conveniently located next to the conference complex, has also received deliveries of Champagne Pommery and Fever Tree soda.

Hope for Relief on "War on Drivers"

There is growing hope among attendees that Chancellor Rishi Sunak will use the conference as an opportunity to address concerns over the "war on drivers" by councils. Many are anticipating that the PM's Plan for Motorists could result in a rollback of 20mph zones and bus lanes, as well as limitations on fines and low-traffic neighbourhoods.

Annual Bash Kicks Off this Sunday

The Tory conference will run for four days, starting this Sunday. Party faithful can expect Prime Minister Boris Johnson to address the attendees on both Sunday and Wednesday.
