Tech Giants Take a Stand
TikTok and Snapchat have signed a pledge to tackle the issue of AI-generated child sexual abuse images. The firms made this commitment at an event with Home Secretary Suella Braverman, highlighting concerns about the exploitation of artificial intelligence.

A total of twenty-seven organizations, including the Internet Watch Foundation and the governments of the US and Australia, have supported this move. The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) has revealed that thousands of images, which can be found on the dark web, are so realistic that they can be considered real imagery under UK law.
Cracking Down on Online Scourge
Home Secretary Suella Braverman emphasized that child sexual abuse images generated by AI are a grave problem online. She urged tech giants to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to curb the spread of such content.
City of London Calls for Action
Chris Hayward, Policy Chairman of the City of London, has called for more short-term business visas to be granted. This would allow international workers to contribute to the development of AI technology. However, Hayward also stressed the importance of nurturing talent locally in this rapidly growing sector.
