Scared MPs working from home will be a victory for anti-Semitic thugs and fast track to disintegration of our democracy

Reality bites

The liberal Left’s cosy delusions shattered when faced with the harsh reality of extremist and Islamist threats outside Parliament. Veteran Labour figure Harriet Harman suggested MPs should hide and work from home to avoid the anti-Semitic mobs causing fear in the streets.

This move could hand these thugs a total victory, a process that started with Keir Starmer's recent actions. The Left, including opposition parties, civil service, and media, struggle to confront the consequences of their naivety, risking the disintegration of our democracy by being overly inclusive and tolerant towards those who oppose British and Western values, especially Jews.

Despite the clear threat, they deflect criticism, focusing on right-wing extremism and alleged Tory "Islamophobia." Media coverage prioritizes minor incidents over the real issue of extremist support for Hamas terrorists, ignoring reports of hate marches costing millions and disrupting policing.

A senior police official warned that the fabric of democracy is at risk, urging action against these threatening mobs. Chief constables must act to remove these extremists, who have long instilled fear in both Jewish and non-Jewish communities.

It is imperative that our MPs do not surrender to these threats.

Badge bodge

An injustice occurred when a council revoked war hero Ben McBean's disabled parking permit.

While some receive blue badges for stress or anxiety affecting mobility, Ben, who lost a limb in Afghanistan, was denied. Despite his remarkable recovery using a prosthetic limb, he still faces challenges in moving normally.

Ben rightfully questions why he was deemed not disabled enough for the permit, highlighting the council's insensitive decision. A reconsideration is essential to correct this wrong and honor his service.
