Most UK Voters Believe Small Boat Migrants Pose a Security Threat

Survey Reveals Majority of Voters Concerned About Illegal Arrivals

A recent poll conducted by People Polling has revealed that a majority of UK voters believe that small boat migrants pose a security threat to the country. According to the survey, 52% of respondents expressed concern over the illegal arrivals, with this number rising to 78% among Tory supporters and 77% among Brexit voters.

Public Opinion Split on Impact of Small Boat Migrants

The survey also shed light on public opinion regarding the impact of small boat migrants on the country. Approximately 46% of respondents regarded them as "mostly bad" for the UK, while just over a quarter believed they had both positive and negative consequences. Only 7% considered them to be "mostly good".

Over 25,000 Illegal Migrants Arrive in UK via Channel

So far this year, more than 25,000 illegal migrants have arrived in the UK by crossing the English Channel. This influx has fueled concerns among the public, resulting in a majority (52%) of respondents disagreeing with Euro judges having the power to override the government's immigration plans.

Migration Watch Calls for Action

Migration Watch, a leading think tank on migration issues, has urged the government to take action in response to the survey results. Alp Mehmet, Chairman of Migration Watch, emphasized the need to safeguard the nation's interests and uphold the rule of law in the face of public opinion.
