Greater Manchester Police have opened an investigation into Angela Rayner over suspicions that she may have violated electoral law.

Initial Claims Dismissed

Initially, police had stated that the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party would not be investigated for allegedly providing false information regarding her place of residence for the electoral register.

Official Statement

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police stated, "We're looking into whether any offenses have been committed. This decision comes after a reevaluation of the information provided to us by Mr. Daly."
