A JAMAICAN dad who committed a string of offences has won a four-year legal battle to stay in the UK — so he can be a role model for his kids.
The man, known only as KB, was convicted of nine crimes in six years and was ordered back to the Caribbean.
The deportation process was triggered after the dad-of-four got 12 months’ jail for ABH.
But the Court of Appeal allowed him to stay on human rights grounds.
It said it would be “unduly harsh” to deny his kids a dad who can still be a role model.
He was also establishing a business.
Lawyers have thwarted Home Secretary Priti Patel’s attempts to deport dozens of non-British criminals back to Jamaica.
