DOMINIC Cummings today put rockets under his attacks on Matt Hancock by revealing texts from Boris Johnson branding him “totally f***ing hopeless” should be replaced by Michael Gove.
The scorned ex-aide dumped private WhatsApp exchanges between him and the PM in an explosive blog post.
One bombshell message from March shows Mr Cummings complaining to the PM about Britain’s sluggish testing rollout and the Health Sec’s scepticism about hitting targets.
The PM bluntly replies: “Totally f***ing hopeless”.
Another message from Mr Johnson says: “On PPE it’s a disaster. I can’t think of anything except taking Hancock off and putting Gove on.”
