Reports indicate that there are plans to bring Hi-Fi Rush, an Xbox-exclusive rhythm action game that won Best Audio Design at The Game Awards 2023, to other platforms. Rumors suggest that it could be released on Nintendo Switch and PS5 later this year. There are also suggestions that another highly-rated Xbox game, Pentiment, may also expand to new platforms in the near future.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has repeatedly expressed the company's desire to make games accessible to as many players as possible. He has stated that their goal is to allow gamers to play the games they want on the devices they prefer.
