Xbox fans are in for a real treat as Bethesda, the developer of Xbox Series X|S exclusive Starfield, has announced a massive free upgrade for the game. This overhaul brings a plethora of new features and improvements to enhance the gaming experience.
Exciting Upgrades Await
One of the most significant additions for Xbox Series X owners is a 60fps mode, promising a smoother gameplay experience with double the current frame rate. Additionally, players with 120Hz screens can enjoy a 40fps option for a balance between gameplay smoothness and visual quality.
Enhancements Galore
Improved surface maps address one of the key player complaints by revamping navigation on planets and in cities. Moreover, new settings allow players to customize difficulty levels for ground and ship combat, while also offering options to decorate ship interiors and alter traits and appearance.
Early Access
The update is currently available for beta testing on PC via Steam and is expected to roll out on Xbox Series X|S shortly after any bugs are ironed out. While details for Series S are not yet confirmed, it seems the upgrade will be exclusive to the Series X.
