Xbox Game Pass and Console Prices on the Rise
Xbox, once known for its budget-friendly options, is facing criticism from fans due to recent price hikes. The popular Xbox Game Pass service is seeing a significant increase in all tiers, with the removal of the Game Pass for Console option.
Xbox Console Prices Soar

Xbox consoles in Japan now come with a higher price tag, with the Xbox Series X costing approximately £350 or $450. Many fear that this price increase in Japan may signal similar changes in other regions.

Microsoft has stated that the price increase is specific to the Japanese market for now. The company claims to regularly evaluate market conditions and pricing strategies. However, fans remain skeptical, recalling past instances where Microsoft expanded price hikes to multiple regions despite initial assurances.
