Street Fighter 6’s character creator lets players build the wackiest fighters

STREET Fighter 6 is now in beta, and a lucky handful of players have been able to enter the game, create their own characters, and get into online games.

The game boasts one of gaming’s most detailed character customisation options to date, and players are already having fun with the designer.

Street Fighter 6 offers a huge range of options for characters.

Aside from the usual options to change your hairstyle or your height, there are a whole host of smaller options to change the shape and size of every part of your body.

While people were laughing at the size of Ryu’s barrel chest in the Street Fighter 6 trailer, if you want your character can have a torso just as big.

Everything seems to be adjustable individually, from the size of your head to the size of your bum, giving players free rein to design their characters as wacky as they want.

That’s just what they’ve been up to, with everything from pin-headed muscle men, to beefed up cyclist thighs being seen on social media.

Sadly, you can’t take these characters into online matches.

For now your custom creation can only roam around the game’s hub, but the developers have the intention to allow you to use them in the single-player mode when the game is released.

In online matches you’ll still have to choose from the regular cast of characters such as Ryu or Chun Li, who have admittedly distorted body proportions to begin with.

While Chun Li’s thighs were made for crushing melons, they still feel like they belong in the realm of what is possible given enough time and absolute dedication.

What the player’s have been up to is quite the different story though, creating fighters that would struggle to walk upright let alone beat someone up.

Street Fighter 6 is still in the beta phase, and developers may tone down the character creator by the time the game releases.

With how much fun everyone is having with it though, we hope to see it in the final game.

The custom characters are not allowed in matches against other players.

So these wild designs won’t give you an advantage when it comes to fights.

This means that it is simply a bit of fun for those who enjoy the single-player and won’t have impacts on things like esports tournaments based on the game’s meta.
