GAMERS are going wild for a rare PS5 price drop available from Game.
The retailer is currently offering the disc version of the console along with a game for £299.

But to get it this low, you’ll have to trade-in your old console.
Devices that are eligible for trading in include PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series or PS5 console.
But it’s the PS4 500GB Slim, Xbox One S 500GB and Nintendo Switch Lite that will get you the PS5 upgrade for £299.
If you have the standard PS4 500GB, PS4 1TB or Xbox One S 1TB digital, the PS5 will set you back £319 instead.
According to bargain hunters, it’s available until August 10.
And there is a slight catch too – you can only redeem the offer in store, not online.
The console you’re trading in must be in good working order, be of satisfactory quality and pass all relevant tests and security checks to be accepted.
And an official controller, HDMI cable, power cable, controller charging cable (where applicable) and dock (where applicable) will need to come with it.
The deal has led many to speculate whether a long-rumoured new version of the PS5 will be released soon.
“There seem to be a lot of PS5 deals,” one user said on HotUKDeals.
“Feels like there must be a new version coming out soon.”
Another added: “That’s a no brainer if you’ve got an older console and of course the money right?”
If you don’t have an old console eligible to trade-in, you might want to try this stonking promotion from Amazon instead.
