One of the most noticeable differences is the weight of the PS5 Slim, which has been significantly reduced. Picking up the console, it's clear that it's over a pound lighter than the standard model. However, despite the name, the PS5 Slim is not as slim as many were expecting.
Size Comparison to Original Xbox
The PS5 Slim is even larger in size when compared to the original Xbox model. While it is somewhat shorter than the original PS5, it ends up being a little thicker when the disc drive is included. Additionally, the console does not come with a vertical stand, limiting its advantage in terms of height.

Another difference with the PS5 Slim is that the shell is now in four pieces instead of the original two.
