Long-awaited Trading Feature
Pokémon TCG Pocket has been a massive hit, with players collecting and battling virtual Pokémon cards. While players have been eagerly opening packs in hopes of getting the cards they need, trading has been a much-anticipated feature.
What You Need to Know
Players will soon be able to trade like-for-like cards, such as EX cards for EX cards. Standard cards, EX cards, and full-art standard cards will be available for trading. However, immersive cards, full-art EX cards, full-art trainer cards, and gold cards cannot be traded.
Official Announcement
After months of anticipation, The Pokémon Company has confirmed that trading will be introduced to TCG Pocket this month. Trading will only be allowed for cards of diamond or one-star rarity, and trades will be done between friends.
Resources and New Booster Pack
Trading will require in-game resources, although the specific details have not been disclosed yet. It is speculated that a currency similar to Shinedust in Pokémon Go may be used. Additionally, a new booster pack will be added to the game alongside the trading feature.
Release Date
While the exact release date for trading in TCG Pocket is not known, it is expected to be rolled out before the end of January. Players are eagerly awaiting this long-awaited addition to the game.
