Sleep better with Snorlax.

Fans have been excited about the upcoming app, which was first announced all the way back in 2019.

However, thanks to the latest livestream we now know that Pokémon Sleep will launch 8am on Friday, July 21, 2023.

Pokémon Sleep is a new free-to-play app where you can track how well you sleep, and even record yourself while sleeping.

The idea is that it will help you understand your sleep better, and you will get bonuses the more and better sleep you get.

Each player will have their own Snorlax, and it will attract new, more and rarer Pokémon to catch depending on how well you sleep.

The livestream titled “It’s just Snorlax sleeping” is exactly what it says on the tin.

Showing a video of the Snorlax you will be able to play with in the game, he is sleeping peacefully with a Pikachu on his stomach.

People can send Snorlax messages wishing him a good night, and occasionally fruit will fall into his hands to have a midnight snack.

Labelled an ASMR video, the tranquil music and light snoring sounds are aimed at helping people fall asleep.

The Pokédex entry from Sword describes Snorlax as: “Terrifyingly strong, this Pokémon is the size of a mountain—and moves about as much as one as well.”

Ultra Moon describes it as: “It has no interest in anything other than eating.

“Even if you climb up on its stomach while it’s napping, it doesn’t seem to mind at all!”

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire also writes: “Snorlax’s typical day consists of nothing more than eating and sleeping.

“It is such a docile Pokémon that there are children who use its expansive belly as a place to play.”

A huge number of people are expected to play Pokémon Sleep when it launches, and you can pre-register now so it downloads at launch.
