Pokémon fans eagerly anticipate major free update – when to join the Indigo Disk
The Indigo Disk will offer exciting battles.

The best news is that if you have already purchased the Teal Mask, you will receive the Indigo Disk upgrade for free.

Here's everything you need to know to dive into Pokémon SV's Indigo Disk as soon as it becomes available.

When will Pokémon the Indigo Disk be released?

The Pokémon Company has not provided an official launch time, so there may be a slight discrepancy in server updates.

However, based on past Pokémon DLC release times, we can estimate when the Indigo Disk is likely to launch.

Pokémon DLC usually becomes available at 10am JST, which aligns with the game's origin in Japan.

This is what we expect for the Indigo Disk release time in different time zones:

December 13, 2023:

  • 5:00pm PT (Western US)
  • 8:00pm ET (Eastern US)

December 14, 2023:

  • 1:00am GMT (UK time)
  • 2:00am CET (Central Europe)
  • 10:00am JST (Japan)
  • 12:00pm AEDT (Eastern Australia)

What does the Indigo Disk add to Pokémon SV?

The Indigo Disk will be a significantly larger expansion compared to the Teal Mask, with a much greater number of Pokémon expected to be added.

This game focuses more on battling and catching, and to conquer the story, you will need a strong doubles team.

There will also be a Terrarium that hosts various biomes containing different types of Pokémon.

This includes all the previous starter Pokémon and legendary creatures from previous games.

Additionally, you'll have the ability to freely fly around the map and take control of a Pokémon using the Synchro Machine.

We're eagerly anticipating the release of the Indigo Disk as it promises to provide Pokémon fans with everything they desire.
