PlayStation 5 players are in for a treat as they can now get a sneak peek at one of the most anticipated games of 2024.
Xbox and PC players to follow, but PlayStation users get first dibs
While Xbox and PC players will have their chance to log in soon, PlayStation users have the exclusive opportunity to try out the game first.
Tekken 8 is set to be released in full on January 26, 2023, but players can get a taste of the action over a month before the official launch.
The Tekken 8 demo is now available for PS5 players, with Xbox and PC players gaining access next week.
What's included in the demo?
The demo features the first chapter of Story and Arcade modes, Super Ghost Battle, and a limited version of the local Versus mode and Gallery.
However, players should note that only a limited number of characters will be available during the demo, so their favorite fighters may not be playable.
Out of the game's 32 playable characters, the demo only allows players to choose from four: Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Nina. Additionally, there will be three stadiums available to play in.
Limitations of the demo
While the demo offers a glimpse into the gameplay, there are a couple of downsides to consider.
Firstly, players will not be able to challenge other players online during the demo. Secondly, any progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full game if players decide to purchase it after launch.
Despite these limitations, the demo provides an opportunity for players to get a feel for Tekken 8's gameplay and decide if it's worth buying the full game when it is released in January.
