Nintendo has recently announced a new giveaway for its most popular series of games - Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This giveaway is far less limited than usual, making it accessible to all Nintendo Switch owners. This exciting giveaway ties in with the release of Pokémon's new anime series, Paldean Winds.
Introducing the Rampaging Cetitan
In the first episode of Paldean Winds, the main character Ohara encounters a rampaging Pokémon called Cetitan. Its unique cry, described as 'like a flute', has inspired the latest giveaway. Now, players of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can download their very own Cetitan.
What makes Cetitan special?
Not only can players obtain Cetitan for free, but it comes with the rare Ferocious Mark, giving it the special title of 'Cetitan the Rampaging'. Its original trainer is Glaseado, and it originates from the Pokémon animated show. When downloaded, Cetitan is level 50 and comes with the moves Amnesia, Body Slam, Ice Spinner, and Double Edge. It has an Ice-tera type and the ability Thick Fat, with no held item.
How to claim your own Cetitan
All players with a copy of Pokémon Scarlet or Violet can claim their very own Cetitan until August 31, 2024. To claim it, go to the Mystery Gift in the Poké Portal menu and click on Enter via Code. Enter the code "L1KEAFLUTE" and the Cetitan will be sent to you. If your party is full, it will go to an empty slot in your box.
