NieR creator’s latest mobile game deletes itself as soon as you finish it

SINOALICE is a new free-to-play mobile game by NieR’s creator Yoko Taro, but it has an interesting catch.

The mobile RPG has been updated over time, and according to the game’s official Twitter account, the final verses will be added starting tomorrow, October 27.

You collect characters as you progress through the game.

Nine verses will be added then, with the final verse coming on November 3.

However, while the thread details ways in which players can reach the final ending, it also warns them that they might not want to do so.

Once you beat chapter five of the story, the Twitter thread informs you that you will not be able to return to the main story.

After this point you can only play the verses, though you are free to replay any of the first nine.

Once you enter verse 10, there is no going back. Verse 10 contains a difficult boss battle where you can only use the main character Alice.

Usually, you have a team of other characters who help you fight, or you can play with your friends in co-op.

If you lose the fight, you will only be able to try the verse again; you will not be able to go back and gain more levels or get better equipment.

However, something even more troubling is waiting for players who do manage to beat the final boss.

The post reads: “After clearing the entire final arc, an ending clip will be played.

“Once that clip is over, you will be forced to log out. After that, you can never. log. in. ever. again.

“Please clear everything before you set foot. NieR fans will understand.”

This confirms that after you complete the game your save data will be deleted and you cannot play the game again.

Those who wish to help their friends in co-op will also not be able to do so.

While it is possible to play again by creating a new account, everything that you have done before will be gone forever.

This is not the first time that Yoko Taro has done this in a game, as he often forces difficult choices on the player.
