ONE of the biggest releases of 2020 is soon going off sale for good at the end of the month.
End of an era for Marvel's Avengers
To celebrate, it’s on sale on a number of platforms with some discounts as deep as 90% off.
Game support discontinued
It was previously announced that Marvel’s Avengers would no longer be supported after September 2023.
Not only will the developer no longer support the game, but it will also be removed from sale for good after the month ends.
The blurb reads: "Assemble your team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, embrace your powers, and live your Super Hero dreams.
"Marvel’s Avengers is an epic, third-person, action-adventure game that combines an original, cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay.
"Assemble into a team of up to four players online, master extraordinary abilities, customize an expansive roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth from escalating threats."
Get it before it's gone
You can play as plenty of different Marvel heroes and complete a variety of missions across the world.
The sale includes the definitive edition, including all of the additional DLC that has been released over the years.
Marvel’s Avengers has a robust single-player mode, and multiplayer will still be available as long as the servers last.
Huge discounts
While Marvel’s Avengers is currently reduced on almost every platform, some deals are better than others.
Steam has the best deal that we could find with 90% off the Definitive Edition selling currently for £2.99 ($3.99)
However, if you don’t have a gaming PC or Steam Deck, you can also get a great deal on the PlayStation version.
The Definitive Edition is currently on the PS Store also for 90% off, however, as the platform price is higher it is currently £4.49 ($5.99).
Last chance to save
The price will never be any lower as this is the last week that the game will ever be on sale.
Some games do return on sale years after they are taken down, this seems highly unlikely in the case of Marvel’s Avengers.
