IN Hogwarts Legacy, there are a number of golden statues holding blue orbs that you can find around the open world.
These are Demiguise statues, and you will need to find and collect them in order to power up your Alohomora spell.
You’ll find these all over the world.
If you’re struggling to find them all, then we have a number of tips to help you out.
Here’s everything you need to know about finding and collecting Demiguise statues in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to change to night
After you speak to the caretaker of Hogwarts, Gladwin Moon, he’ll give you a quest to hunt down all of the Demiguise statues and collect their moons.
In order to do this you will need to change the time to night, as this is the only way to collect the moons.
You don’t have to wait until it turns to nighttime as you can speed it up from the map screen.
Open the map, and on the bar at the bottom of the interface, you will see a button that allows you to wait, changing the time from day to night.
You will know if you did this correctly, as the Demiguise moon will glow and you’ll see a prompt to collect it.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to upgrade the Alohomora spell
In order to collect all of the Demiguise moons from the statues, you will need to upgrade the Alohomora spell.
This is because while some statues are out in the open, such as the one in the Divination room, many are hidden behind locked doors.
The better the level of your Alohomora spell, the more doors you’ll be able to unlock.
This spell will level up the more Demiguise moons you collect. Once you have nine moons you’ll be able to reach level 2.
Return to Gladwin Moon, and show him your spoils for an upgrade.
Hogwarts Legacy: Where are the Demiguise statues?
The majority of Demiguise moons can be found outside of Hogwarts Castle.
This means that they can mostly be found behind locked doors in either Hogsmeade, or the small villages you find around the Highlands.
As you search around these areas, you will find a number of locked houses.
Using Alohomora you can open these doors and collect the Demiguise moons hidden inside.
There’s no punishment for breaking into, or stealing from someone’s houses, so feel free to break into as many as you need.
