GTA fans think they’ve found a new area in the upcoming game.
Since almost 100 videos were stolen from Rockstar, fans have been looking at the data to learn more about the game.
So much is still unknown about GTA 6.
GTA 6 is still in early development, and significant changes are likely to be made before release.
However, fans think they have found information alluding to Guarma, an island based on Cuba that was part of another Rockstar major title, Red Dead Redemption 2.
In RDR2 players go to Guarma in Chapter 5, but the area can’t be freely explored.
It’s a time-locked location, meaning that once you leave the island you are unable to return.
As it is believed that GTA 6 will take place in the series’ fictional version of Miami, Vice City.
However, fans have speculated that Guarma will be featured in another time-limited mission, such as a flashback.
Rockstar has been tight-lipped about what will be featured in GTA 6.
While rumours about the game and what will be featured have been around for months, very little official information has been announced.
Officially, Rockstar has only said that GTA 6 is in early development, and that the large-scale hack will not delay its release.
It is believed that Rockstar is aiming to release the game around holiday 2024.
This is because of information released in an earnings report by publisher Take-Two, which said that the company is planning to release a game from a major series in Fiscal Year 2025.
FY2025 spans from April 2024 until March 2025, and the company expects the release to produce its biggest-ever project.
Few games create as much revenue as the GTA series, which has led people to believe that the game mentioned must be GTA 6.
