GOD of War Ragnarök is one of this year’s most anticipated releases, and soon everyone will be able to play it.
Our spoiler-free review will give you a sneak peek at what’s to come, and we think it’s one of the year’s best games.
God of War Ragnarök brings stunning new locations.
Those who want to play God of War Ragnarök as soon as possible won’t have much longer to wait.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s release and how you can prepare for it.
God of War Ragnarök release date and time
God of War Ragnarök will have a staggered release, meaning it will launch gradually at the same hour in each time zone across the globe.
The good news here is that everyone will get it on Wednesday, November 9, as soon as the clock turns midnight local time the night before.
The counter side to this is that those who live in the eastern parts of the world will be able to play God of War Ragnarök before the western half.
If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy already, you can set up a PlayStation account set to New Zealand and purchase it through there.
This will allow you to play the game as soon as possible, as midnight in New Zealand is 11am UK time or 6am ET on November 8.
How to pre-load God of War Ragnarök
Pre-loads for God of War Ragnarök are already live, meaning that if you’ve pre-ordered the game you can start downloading it to your PS4 or PS5.
Sometimes your console will start the pre-load automatically depending on your settings.
However, you can also choose to start the download by selecting the game on your home menu and selecting the countdown timer.
This will start the pre-load which will mean the game is fully installed for launch.
Those who haven’t pre-ordered already will also be able to do this if they purchase the game before its release.
