Expanding Entertainment Horizons
When people think of subscription services, movies and TV shows usually come to mind. However, more services are now venturing into other forms of entertainment to provide added value to their subscribers.
Anime Games Galore
Well-known platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube are offering free games for PC and mobile players. Anime subscription service Crunchyroll has also been expanding its gaming library, recently announcing 15 new games for its subscribers.
Top Picks in the Lineup
Among the newly added games is the highly-rated Crypt of the NecroDancer, boasting a remarkable 92 rating on Metacritic. This rhythm-based, roguelike dungeon crawler challenges players to move and attack enemies to the beat of the music. Additionally, Steins;Gate, an acclaimed sci-fi visual novel with an 87 rating on Metacritic, is set to captivate gamers with its compelling time-travel storyline.
Full List of Games
The games will be rolled out on Crunchyroll between now and mid-2024, with highlights including Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Corpse Party, The Quintessential Quintuplets, and RWBY: Arrowfell. More games will continue to be added monthly for Mega and Ultimate Fans subscribers.
