Gamers rush to get early access to brand new Call of Duty game

Gamers all over the world are eagerly awaiting the release of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. But some lucky players are getting the chance to play the game before anyone else.

How to get the access code

The new title is not officially out yet, but players can get early access over the next two weekends. PlayStation owners can get the access code for the open beta this weekend, between October 6 and 7, as well as October 8 and 10. Xbox and PC gamers will have to wait until the following weekend, between October 12 and 16.

What is an open beta test?

An open beta test is when game developers ask hardcore gamers for feedback. This means players get to try the game and give their thoughts and suggestions before the final release. It's a chance to shape the game and make it better.

How to be one of the first to play

If you want to be one of the first to play, all you need to do is pre-order the game. Once you've pre-ordered, you'll receive a 13-character code that you can use after logging into your Call of Duty account. You can only redeem the game after logging in.

Once you have the game, you'll have a minimum of two days to test it before its official launch on November 10. The price of the game will vary depending on the console you're playing on.

What if you can't get an early access code?

If you're unable to get an early access code, it could be because the supply has run out. The game's developer, Activision, only offers a limited number of codes for each beta trial. Alternatively, the servers may be overloaded with fans trying to get their hands on the game. If that's the case, just refresh, wait a few hours, and try again.
