Fortnite, the popular online game, has recently expanded with the addition of three new game modes. While the game is best known for its Battle Royale mode, players now have different ways to enjoy Fortnite.

Introducing Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival, and Lego Fortnite

One of the new game modes is Rocket Racing, developed by the same team behind Rocket League. It offers players a fast-paced kart racing experience.

Fortnite Festival is another new mode that brings Rock Band-style concerts to the popular free-to-play game.

However, the most popular new mode is Lego Fortnite, a creative sandbox similar to Minecraft. Players can use virtual Lego bricks to gather resources, craft items, and create their own homebase.

Unleashing Creativity with Lego Fortnite

With the freedom that Lego bricks provide, Fortnite players can do much more than simply building houses. They can let their imagination run wild and bring their wildest ideas to life.

Unfortunately, some players have taken their creativity too far. A video has gone viral online, showing a group of players recreating the tragic events of 9/11 in Lego Fortnite.

Controversy Surrounding the Video

The video depicts two tall Lego towers filled with Thermite, a crafting material that explodes upon contact. One player crafts a rocket aimed at the towers, which, upon release, collides with the buildings, reducing them to rubble.

Opinions on the recreation are divided. While some find the video humorous and enjoy the explosions, others believe it is a topic that should not be joked about.

One commenter wrote, "Once upon a time I might've found this funny, and I totally understand how it’s funny. I'm not hurt as everyone’s saying, I wasn’t even alive then. But I just think this is one of those things you don't joke about."

Another commenter shared their personal experience, saying, "Only little kids who never watched the news live when this happened in real life would make such jokes. I was 13, came home from school and heard the news on the radio in the car. When I got home all channels had continuous footage. I remember hearing the mention of people choosing to jump to their death knowing their time was up."
