The highly anticipated new season of Fortnite is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival. With exciting changes to the map and the promise of new gameplay features, there's a lot to look forward to. Here's everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5.

When does the new season start?

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 will officially begin on Friday, November 3, 2023, and will run until Sunday, December 3, 2023. Before the season starts, there will be a brief period of downtime as Epic Games updates the servers. Typically, the downtime starts at 8am UK time and lasts for a few hours. What changes can we expect?

While most of the changes for Season 5 are being kept under wraps, we do know that the theme will be a throwback to Chapter 1. The Chapter 1 map will be making a comeback with some modern updates to fit the current Fortnite gameplay. Additionally, some items from Chapter 1, like Shopping Carts and Turrets, will be unvaulted.

What's in the Battle Pass?

Details about the Battle Pass are still being kept secret, but we do know that some popular costumes will be making a comeback. Teasers have shown remixed versions of the Ragnarok, Lynx, and Black Knight outfits. The Black Knight outfit, in particular, is generating a lot of excitement, as it can be quite valuable to collectors. Accounts with the original skin can sell for up to $400.
