FIFA's New Gaming Venture
After parting ways with EA Sports, FIFA has finally announced a new gaming partnership with Konami, the developer of Pro Evo Soccer and eFootball. This partnership will focus on esports, with two FIFAe World Cups set to take place this year.

Since the split from EA Sports, the game developer has thrived with their own series, EA Sports FC. Despite FIFA's absence, EA Sports FC has been successful and released two entries in the series.
New Esports World Cup
Konami will not be developing the next generation of FIFA games but will be collaborating with FIFA to create an esports World Cup. The tournament will feature competitions on both mobile and console versions of Konami's eFootball.
Qualifying Rounds Underway
Qualifying rounds for the FIFAe World Cup have already begun, with 18 countries eligible to participate. Players will compete to represent their country and then advance to the eFootball World Cup later this year.
Future of the Partnership
