MUCH like the original Resident Evil 4, the remake is full of cool costumes that you can unlock.
These are for both Leon and Ashley, and some can even give you upgrades to use in game.
What the pair apparently wear on their days off.
If you want to play through a second time, these costumes are a great way to level up your experience.
Here’s all the costumes and accessories in the Resident Evil 4 remake and how to unlock them.
What are Leon’s costumes in Resident Evil 4 remake?
There are three alternative costumes for Leon that can be purchased after you complete the main story.
Here are your choices.
Jacket
During the first chapter of the game you might remember Leon wearing a rather fetching jacket.
However, he takes it off near the end of this introduction.
If you want him to keep it on for the whole game, you can purchase it for 500CP.
Jacketless
If you thought that was cheap, wait until you hear about jacketless.
This lets you play through the first chapter without his fetching jacket, and then continue on jacketless throughout.
Like the jacket this is also 500CP.
Pinstripe
For a completely new Leon look, you will have to purchase his pinstripe gangster suit from the original game.
This was originally unlocked by completing the Separate Ways DLC, but is now available straight after the main story.
It’s more expensive at 2000CP, but worth it to see Leon wearing something snazzy.
What are Ashley’s costumes in the Resident Evil 4 remake?
Ashley’s outfits are similar to Leon’s options but with one interesting twist.
Here are the three available to her.
Jacket
Ashley only takes off her jacket in the final chapter of the game, but there is an option to keep it on until the end.
Purchase this for 500CP and she’ll stay warm throughout.
Jacketless
Again the opposite of this. If you want Ashley to keep the jacket off from the moment you meet her there is a price to pay.
This one is also 500CP if you want her to stay cool.
Suit of Armor
In another callback to the original, you can purchase the suit of armour, which also has an interesting effect.
When wearing this, she is invulnerable to all attacks, and she can no longer be picked up by enemies.
It’s a little bit harder to unlock. You need to finish Hardcore Mode with an A rank or better, before you can purchase it for 2000CP.
What are the DLC costumes for Resident Evil 4 remake?
Ashlet and Leon’s romantic look.
If none of these take your fancy you can also purchase outfits for them using your own cash.
Here is everything there is on offer.
Casual
This is a set for both Leon and Ashley and is meant to represent what they would wear on their days off.
Ashley’s look is nothing like her usual in-game outfit, and could be worth purchasing if you plan on replaying.
Romantic
While the style is called Romantic, it is more like the gothic, vampire horror than a cosy date outfit.
This is another set which covers both Leon and Ashley, if you want to see what they’d look like if they were from Victorian times.
Hero
This one is only for Leon, and dresses him in a set of leather armour that you might find in something like The Witcher.
It also adds a filter to the whole game which makes it looks as if it’s running on an old projector.
Villain
The final outfit is another Leon only look, and will make him all-black with bright red eyes.
This outfit also comes with a filter which adds a red mist over the screen.
