Expanding into Underserved Markets

Decentralized wireless (DeWi) network operator, World Mobile, has announced the launch of its app on Google Play for users in the UK, Australia, Canada, and the US. The app, which aims to bridge the gap between major telecoms and underserved markets, has already undergone successful beta tests in countries such as Kenya, Mozambique, and Nigeria. The World Mobile app is also currently available in Zanzibar.

Connecting Users Through Innovative Solutions

World Mobile's DeWi services utilize a combination of existing infrastructure and alternative technology solutions to provide connectivity. In some areas, they have tapped into "TV white space," the unused television broadcast spectrums, to send and receive data. They have also adapted SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service for mobile customer use in certain regions.

Geographical Restrictions May Apply

The Google Play launch will feature the most updated version of the app. However, due to geographical restrictions, some features may not be available to users in all locations.

Partnership with SingularityNET

In addition to the app launch, World Mobile has also announced a partnership with artificial intelligence and robotics company SingularityNET. The collaboration aims to develop and manage customer service solutions for the World Mobile platform. The companies will also explore an AI and blockchain-based lending and credit approval service that adapts to users' payment history and reputation.
